Here is a picture of my old Volvo
It is a 1964 (thats 31 years old) and I picked it
up for almost nothing; it has been
almost nothing but trouble since.
Here is the info:
- A 122s with 4 doors
- The B18 engine
- Dual SU carbs
It has problems:
- It only gets 1.75 miles to the gallon--of course, it is hard
to do the math in my head for
the smell of gasoline and that damn backfiring
racket.
- The fuel sender doesn't work (I had to run out of gas to learn this one)
- The choke is sticky and won't turn off
- Of course, the body needs work
- The dash pad is in terrible shape
- It is missing the interior lens cover
My latest attempt at an improvement
Lately I have been trying to seal around the windshield. If it rains,
my feet get awfully wet. I am planning to use black RTV sealant--although
I am not at all certain if ths this the best product. Any suggestions?
