The grid generation program CoastGrid is based on Brackbill's adaptive
grid generation method. The generation equations can be found in :
J.U. and J.S.Saltzman, 1982, Adaptive zoning for singular problems in two
dimensions. Journal of computational physics, 46, 342-368.
Both a Matlab version and a
NDP Fortran version of the grid
generation program were developed based on Brackbill's theory.
In the Fortran version, NDP Fortran Graphic
Libraries were used to
make a Fortan based GUI. The Matlab GUI was used to develop the
Matlab version of the grid generation program.
