CoastGrid HOMEPAGE


The grid generation program CoastGrid is based on Brackbill's adaptive grid generation method. The generation equations can be found in :
Brackbill J.U. and J.S.Saltzman, 1982, Adaptive zoning for singular problems in two dimensions. Journal of computational physics, 46, 342-368.

Both a Matlab version and a NDP Fortran version of the grid generation program were developed based on Brackbill's theory. In the Fortran version, NDP Fortran Graphic Libraries were used to make a Fortan based GUI. The Matlab GUI was used to develop the Matlab version of the grid generation program. The matlab version is available on this page. To download the NDP Fortran version, please contact Fengyan Shi.
